Email → Notion

Give every Notion workflow its own inbox.

Email is where information arrives. Notion is where it becomes part of the work.

Create named inboxes for ideas, issues, content, client updates, and more. Send or forward an email to your named inboxes and Nextro saves the message, metadata, and attachments in Notion.

Forward an important email into Notion — message, sender, and attachments stay together.

Nextro + Notion

Important information should not end in your inbox

Email contains more than conversation.

It contains client decisions, product feedback, project issues, research, source material, approvals, and files connected to ongoing work.

But inside an email inbox, that information stays separated from the project, client, or workflow it belongs to.

Nextro gives important emails a place to live in Notion so they are beside the rest of the context, not buried in another inbox.

Named inboxes

One space. A named inbox for every purpose.

A single project can receive many different kinds of information.

Nextro lets you create a separate named inbox for each workflow inside it.

Everything belongs to the same project.

Incoming email is organized by why it matters, not only by who sent it.

Project

Product launch

  • ideas@in.nextro.app

    Ideas

Save product and launch ideas before you forget.

  • content@in.nextro.app

    Marketing content

Send an article or inspiration and it becomes part of your marketing context.

  • feedback@in.nextro.app

    User feedback

Save user feedback with the product work it affects.

How it works

From email to the right Notion context in three steps.

  1. Step 1

    Connect Notion

Choose the parts of your Notion workspace that should receive email.

  2. Step 2

    Create named inboxes

Create an address for each workflow and choose where its messages should be saved.

    • feedback@in.nextro.app
    • issues@in.nextro.app
    • research@in.nextro.app
  3. Step 3

    Send an email

Send a message to the relevant inbox. Nextro creates a new Notion page containing the original email, metadata, and attachments.

No destination to choose every time. The address handles the routing.

Features

Built for reliable capture.

Once an inbox is set up, email becomes the interface. Nextro handles routing, sender control, properties, files, and failed syncs.

  • Named inboxes

Give each workflow its own address. Point it at a new Notion database or one you already have. Use a preset, or map it yourself.

  • Sender control

Keep an inbox to approved people, open it to a company domain, or make it public. Nextro has protections built in.

  • Subject-line syntax

Put tags, owners, amounts, and dates in the subject. They write to mapped properties and drop out of the title.

  • Mapping and defaults

Map email fields to Notion columns. Set per-inbox defaults so Status, Source, and similar fields fill automatically.

  • Body, files, and inline images

The message becomes Notion page content, including inline images. Accepted files upload with the page.

  • Retries and activity

Retry failed Notion syncs from the app. Each inbox logs stored mail, drops, and items that need attention.

Reliable capture

More than a copied block of text

Nextro preserves the information surrounding an email so the resulting Notion page keeps its original context.

Subject
Keep the original email subject as part of the saved entry.
Sender and recipient
See where the message came from and who originally received it.
Received date
Preserve when the email arrived.
Message content
Save the email body inside the new Notion page.
Email metadata
Retain the supported metadata associated with the original message.
Attachments
Keep attached files with the Notion entry they belong to.

What's possible

From capture to workflow

Nextro gets email into Notion. Your workspace and connected tools take it from there.

Build project memory

Important context is often scattered across email threads, attachments, notes, and individual inboxes.

Nextro brings selected emails into the Notion space where the work already lives, creating a more complete record of:

  • What was suggested
  • What was decided
  • What changed
  • What went wrong
  • What was received
  • What still needs attention

Instead of reconstructing the history later, project context accumulates as the work happens.

Keep the work flowing

Once an email is in Notion, it can become part of the systems and workflows already built around the work.

You can:

  • Add statuses, categories, owners, and priorities
  • Connect the message to a client, project, campaign, or product
  • Review new entries through filtered views
  • Assign follow-up work
  • Include the information in team workflows
  • Make it available to AI tools connected to Notion

Nextro gets the original email into the right context. Your Notion setup and connected tools determine what happens next.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about sending email to Notion

What is a named inbox?

A named inbox is an email address created for a specific purpose, such as client feedback, approvals, product issues, or research. Every inbox saves its incoming messages to the location you select in Notion.

Does Nextro need access to my entire email inbox?

No. Nextro processes emails sent directly to or forwarded to a named Nextro address. It does not need to continuously read your full Gmail, Outlook, or other mailbox.

Which email providers work with Nextro?

Nextro works with email providers that allow you to send or forward email, including Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.

Can I send a new email directly to Nextro?

Yes. Compose a new message and send it directly to a named address such as feedback@in.nextro.app.

Can I forward an existing email or thread?

Yes. Forward an email or conversation to the named inbox where it belongs. Nextro preserves the available content, metadata, and supported attachments when creating the Notion page.

Can I automatically forward matching emails to Nextro?

Yes, when your email provider supports forwarding rules. You decide which messages match the rule and which named inbox receives them.

Can I create more than one inbox?

Free includes one email address. Paid includes up to 10, with names you choose.

Does Free require a card?

No. Free is $0 with limits. Paid is $15/month. You pay when checkout finishes. Cancel anytime.

Can I choose where messages are saved?

Yes. When you create a named inbox, you select its destination in Notion. Emails sent to that address are saved there.

What information is saved in Notion?

Nextro saves the email subject, sender and recipient details, received date, message content, available metadata, supported attachments, and the named inbox that received it.

Does Nextro summarize or extract information from emails?

Not currently. The initial product focuses on reliably preserving the original email, metadata, content, and attachments in the correct Notion destination. After the information reaches Notion, it can be used with the Notion features and connected AI tools available to your workspace.

What happens if an email cannot be saved?

Nextro records the failed attempt so it can be retried or investigated.
